How do you get a birth certificate in Pennsylvania?

Search for The Division of Vital Records in the place you were born.  In addition your state representative and/or your state senator may be able to help you get one.

Don’t try using the one that your parents gave you 20 years ago. Birth certificates now have both parents’ names and a seal. Important to get an updated birth certificate. The information will be more complete.
